Dancing can be a way to stay fit for people of all ages, shapes and sizes.  It has a wide range of physical and mental benefits including:

Intermediate/Advanced Bellydance Choreography    

​Thursdays    7:45PM - 8:45PM

This class is for continuing students with at least 3-4 years of belly dance experience, or with instructor's permission. Students will learn advanced belly dance moves such as layering, travelling & formation changes while learning a fun intermediate/advanced level choreography in a fun & supportive environment. This class is suitable for those with a strong understanding & application of all belly dance moves & technique, and who are ready for more advanced techniques & choreographies.

This class is NOT open to those with little or no belly dance experience. If you are not a continuing student of this class but have at least 3-4 years of belly dance experience, please speak with the instructor before registering.​

We regret to inform you that as per the City of Phoenix "Effective immediately, by the directive

of the City Manager, all City facilities are

suspending programming (classes), reservations

and community meetings until the end of April. "

This means we will not be able to continue the current session of classes. This also affects our 3rd session which was scheduled to start on April 16th.

If we hear anything further or if we are allowed

to start back again before the end of April we will

Learning to belly dance it a lot of fun. I moved here and   had difficulty finding a class. As an experienced dancer this one is perfect for me.  Since there are several classes offered you can continue your belly dance journey from beginner to intermediate without interruption and with opportunities to perform. Beginner Bellydance Choreography 

Thursdays    6:45PM - 7:45PM 

​​This is a multi-level class for students new to belly dance & those with some belly dance experience. Proper belly dance posture will be taught along with a progressive, beginner-friendly choreography in a fun & supportive environment. This class is suitable for all genders & body types & will help improve one's every-day posture, flexibility, balance & self-esteem. The Basic Moves & Beyond and Beginner Belly Dancing classes may be

taken simultaneously. 

No dance experience is required. 

If you have no dance experience at all, we HIGHLY recommend you start in the Basic Moves & Beyond class to learn the moves on more of a one on one basis.

 Typical dance level experience is 0 to 4 years of bellydance.

​​Bellydance Basic Moves & Beyond

Thursdays    5:45PM - 6:45PM 

This is a multi-level class for students new to belly dance & those with belly dance experience. Proper belly dance posture will be taught along with learning how to break down and do basic belly dance moves, utilizing muscle movement & isolations, in a fun & supportive environment. Those with belly dance experience will have additional challenges added onto the basic moves being taught such as layering & travelling. This class is suitable for all genders & body types & will help improve one's every-day posture, flexibility, balance & self-esteem. Basic belly dance

moves when drilled can be a great part of your regular fitness program and can help improve & maintain muscle strength. The moves you learn in the Basic Moves & Beyond class are incorporated in a fun dance routine in the Beginner Belly Dancing class. The Basic Moves & Beyond and Beginner Belly Dancing classes may be taken simultaneously. 

No dance experience is required. 

If you have no dance experience at all, we HIGHLY

recommend you start here.
